New User Tutorial
Welcome to the SCLFG Command Center. This guide will help you understand how to customize your profile, deploy missions, and secure blueprints.
1. Profile & Settings
Your Citizen Profile acts as your central hub for LFG configuration and fleet management.
- RSI Verification: Link your official Star Citizen account by verifying your RSI Handle to gain access to verified-only operations and increase your Security Clearance.
- UI Theme: Customize the visual aesthetic of the platform. Head over to your Profile to change your theme.
- LFG Mission Tracking: Customize which mission types you want to be notified about. When another citizen creates a lobby matching your preferences, you'll be pinged.
- Hangar Fleet: Add the ships you own to your Hangar. This data is used by fleet commanders to properly organize crew loadouts and role assignments during operations.
- Referral System: You can invite other players directly to the network using your custom referral link:https://nxsc.org/ref/[your-rsi-handle]
2. Contracts & Blueprints
The system integrates directly with game data to help you target specific loot and missions.
- Creating a Contract: Click "Create Lobby" on the Command Bar. You can select "LFBP" (Looking for Blueprint) to target a specific item.
- Blueprint Intel: The system automatically cross-references your selected blueprint with known mission drop tables (e.g., AD5B Gatling dropping from Headhunter missions).
- Multiple Sources: Many blueprints can drop from multiple contracts. The system will display all known valid contracts for your target.
Notice Inaccurate Data? If you believe a blueprint's drop location, system, or mission prerequisite is outdated (due to a recent Star Citizen patch) or entirely missing, please click the "Submit Bug Report" link found in the footer (or on the blueprint itself) to alert High Command.
3. Advanced Lobby Tactics
Once a lobby is deployed, you have access to specialized operational features.
- Drag-and-Drop Crew: If you are the lobby leader (or a network admin), you can actively drag and drop crew members into specific roles and ships to organize your fleet on the fly.
- Bring Your Own Ship (BYOS): Members joining a lobby can volunteer to bring a ship from their personal hangar. To do this, simply choose "Bring Your Own Ship" when selecting a role to board. The lobby leader will then be able to assign crew members directly to your vessel.
- Role Requirements: Lobby creators can mandate specific roles (e.g., Pilot, Gunner, Medic). Ensure you meet the criteria or coordinate with the host to fulfill the operational needs.
